Back to Reality

After three weeks in paradise, we decided we better head home to enjoy the rest of summer in the comforts of our own home, own beds, and with a washer and dryer closer than 20 miles away!  Deer Lake was wonderful, magical, and full of memories of another year.  Already counting down the days to next summer's trip north.

After a six hour drive, a few cars full of supplies, toys, clothes, and sunscreen,

here is a peek  into our Deer Lake adventure!

Clouds, sun or wind, we did a lot of playing outside....

...which left a lot of sand in a lot of places...

which warranted many of these..........in the kitchen sink!

Grandpa had many willing and {able} tacklebox-sorters...

We did some relaxing with Grandpa...

and some reading with Grandma...

We "fished" with Daddy for the first time...

We swung by the lake...

and swung some more....

and even got to celebrate Grandma's birthday with her!

We will look forward to June, 2011 for the next 11 months!  Until then...the memories will suffice!
